The first and main page on the Ill Manors website consists of a various number of different characters. The film has a multi-stranded narrative which means that many characters are present however they all have different events and situations that they each go through. On the website all the characters that are presented are the protagonists which means that they are the main characters. The background/location behind the characters is a very similar location used in the film therefore demonstrating where the film may have be shot in. The design layout for the website has been cleverly put together which hints to the viewer the setting of the film, the main characters and its narrative (story line). It is very professional as an overall website page as an advanced tool bar/navigation bar is present and interactive which makes it unique from other film websites such as The Twilight Saga website. The scenes change automatically when the user clicks on a different link words such as 'trailer' and 'synopsis'. The posters on the wall are the film posters which were used to promote and broadcast the film in order to increase publicity.
Furthermore, the use of synergy, as the album for Ill Manors, helps promote and broadcast the film. In fact, in the actual film, short snippets of Plan B's songs (lyrics) from his album (Ill Manors) are played in order to demonstrate emotions to the audience. On the website, you are able to purchase the ill Manors album on line which is good promotional skills as people who enjoyed watching the film may perhaps want to purchase the soundtrack depending on the style and genre of music they prefer. The colours used in the website are not appealing neither attention grabbing. The main colours used are black and a very dull grey is used. These colours are good in order for it to match the genre and the film as it is quite gritty and violent. The images of the characters on the website are in colour which means that the colour has been desaturated. The colour black and grey together in this case is associated with death, crime, misfortune, mystery etc. And this links to the genre of the film.
